On Friday, March 13, flood waters ripped through the streets of downtown Pullman and even with the extensive renovation & never ending demolition project that took well over a year water surged through the doors of Lily Bees. It continued to rise and destroyed much-if not ALL of her inventory including the gorgeous display of wedding gowns and prom dresses that have become a staple and livened up Pullman's downtown storefront since 2008.

The loss is devastating, disheartening, and yet another hit that this small business owner is having to take on.

Melanie Hodges is a huge part of the culture of downtown Pullman. She's a treasure and one of the small business owners that we are lucky to have who breathes life with some character into that little corridor. It's important to ensure that we continue to see her creativity shine through those clever ever changing window displays, help with brides on their big days, and our girl's getting ready to go to prom. I am setting up this GoFundMe because as a community it is vital that we back small businesses like Lily Bee's in situations like this-when they need it most to ensure that they survive. dollar counts and will go directly to her and whatever it is she needs for Lily Bees.
