In early December 2024, I came across a helpless dog in desperate need of rescue. Lilo was abandoned, scared, and suffering. Without hesitation, I stepped in to give Lilo a second chance, but as of today, January 28th 2025 I am faced with an expected vet bill for $3,459.23 which continues to grow by the day as he is still in boarding. I have contacted countless rescues and posted on many social media sites to try and find a foster. Unfortunately, I am not a 501C. Just a person that saw a dog in need and immediately stepped in. The vet says that Lilo is extremely sweet, he may be 5 years old, and is not food aggressive. He is about 50 pounds.

I’m reaching out to kind-hearted individuals who love animals as much as I do to help make this journey possible. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward covering vet bills and rescue efforts as a foster nor rescue have been able to take him in. I am in this alone.
