✈️ Help Me Study Abroad in Hungary!
Hi everyone! My name is Lilly, and I’m a student at Ohio University, double majoring in Applied Plant Biology and Entrepreneurship with plans to graduate in 2028.
This summer of 2026, I have the incredible opportunity to participate in the Global Consulting Program (GCP) in Pécs, Hungary. Through this program, I’ll get to work with a real international business, gain hands-on consulting experience, and learn about global perspectives, all while representing Ohio University abroad.
This will be my first time ever traveling outside the U.S., and I’m so excited to grow academically, professionally, and personally. As someone passionate about plants, creativity, and entrepreneurship, this experience will help me reach my dream of opening my own flower shop someday and connecting people with the beauty and meaning of plants around the world.
I’m currently a Copeland Scholar and involved in several student organizations that inspire me to give back and stay creative, including Plant Biology Club, Crochet for a Cause, and Women in Art Club.
While studying abroad is an amazing opportunity, it also comes with additional costs beyond what my normal tuition and financial aid cover. To plan ahead responsibly, I’m fundraising to cover the extra expenses that make this experience possible, this includes things like program fees, airfare, meals, and travel documents.
My goal is to raise $6,000-$7,000, which represents the true additional cost of participating in the Global Consulting Program after factoring in my regular tuition and potential aid.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring me closer to this life-changing opportunity. Your support will help me expand my education, experience a new culture for the first time, and bring back valuable knowledge I can use to grow my future flower business and make a positive impact in my community.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing my GoFundMe link also means the world to me. Thank you so much for helping me make this dream a reality!
— Lilly
