Support Lilly Zellmer & Her Family

Late last year, baby Lilly Zellmer suffered a brain injury. Since December, she has been experiencing infantile spasms and seizures related to that injury.

Lilly now requires ongoing care with weekly appointments at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, which is over a three hour drive each way. To keep Lilly safe during treatment and be close to emergency care if her condition worsens, her family will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House while these appointments continue.

Because of Lilly’s medical needs, her mom, Anna, has had to leave her job to care for the kids full time. Her dad, Shane, has been missing a significant amount of work due to the constant travel and appointments, all while caring for their three year old son, Calvin.

The emotional and financial strain on this family has been overwhelming. This fundraiser is meant to help cover lost income, travel expenses, meals, lodging, medical costs, and everyday necessities so Shane and Anna can focus on Lilly’s care and their family during this incredibly difficult time.
