Last Monday, my daughter Lillian was in a very serious car accident. She had to be cut out of her vehicle and was LifeFlighted to Maine Medical Center. We are incredibly grateful that her injuries are ones she will recover from, but the road ahead is long—and expensive.
Lillian has a $3,000 deductible, and we need to cover another $500 to keep her medical insurance active until long-term disability begins. On top of that, we’re making essential modifications to our home so she can safely return: a wheelchair ramp (which is being built and paid for by family) and widening doorways (labor is covered, but we still need to purchase a larger exterior door).
My husband and I both lost our jobs in recent months. We’re doing everything we can financially, but we need help.
Lillian is kind, caring, and truly an amazing human being. If you’re able to contribute, every dollar will go directly toward her recovery and helping her come home safely. If donating isn’t possible right now, we would be so grateful if you could share this with others.
This isn’t something I’d normally do—but I’m beyond thankful that I can do it, because the alternative doesn’t bear thinking about. We know times are tough for many. Thank you for reading, sharing, and caring. ❤️
