On Friday, Halloween night, Lily had been spending the evening with her parents, sister, brother-in-law, and nephews watching them enjoy trick or treating and seeing them and their friends all dressed up. What started as a night of family fun was shattered when Lily was in an accident caused by a drunk driver and seriously injured and had to be taken to the ICU. In the accident, she suffered multiple injuries including a collapsed lung, fractured heel, fibula, wrist, and broken rib and sprained knee. We are so thankful she made it out alive and without more severe injuries. That said, she has a long road to recovery and has a totaled car and not able to work for some time. She is being cared for by family, but they will need assistance to help through this time. They did not ask me or anyone to do this, but I know it is needed and ask that if anyone is able to help...even in some small way...it will definitely be appreciated.
