Hi, my name is Britnee, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister-in-law, Lilith.

Lilith was diagnosed with Von Hippel–Lindau (VHL) disease in 2024, a rare genetic condition that causes tumors and cysts to grow throughout the body, including the brain and spine. Recently, she experienced a TIA (mini-stroke) on February 2nd, which doctors believe was caused by swelling from a growing cyst and tumor in her brain.

On March 6th, Lilith will undergo two major surgeries in one day at MD Anderson to address both the spine and brain tumors/cyst. Because the tumor and cyst are near the surface of the brain, surgeons are hopeful about safely removing the cyst to relieve pressure.

Lilith and her husband are also raising a beautiful three-year-old, and their household currently relies on a single income. As you can imagine, preparing for major brain and spinal surgery while caring for a toddler adds another layer of emotional and financial strain. Between medical expenses, travel to MD Anderson, hospital stays, time off work, and recovery needs, the burden is significant.

Our goal is to help relieve some of that financial pressure so Lilith and Chance can focus fully on healing and being present for their family.
