Support Liliana and Baby Ethan's Fight for Life

Hello! We are the Garcia Family. My name is Frank, my beloved wife is Lily, and our little baby’s name is Ethan. We want to tell you, our story. We received the most beautiful news! We were expecting our first baby, which filled us with joy and excitement! Sadly, we later received the saddest news we could ever have imagined! My beloved wife Lily was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer with a prognosis of a few months to a year of life. Mucosal Melanoma only affects one in every hundred thousand women. It was devastating, we felt like our world had collapsed, cancer along with a pregnancy. We were overcome with fear and grief. My wife Lily wanted to give our baby the best she could, the best chance at life without receiving cancer treatments; unfortunately, due to the cancer that my wife had, our baby Ethan had to be born prematurely at 26 weeks of gestation. We had the best wishes and hope for our baby to grow and mature in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU: the place where they take care of premature babies), when from one day to the next, we received another hard blow in our lives; our Baby Ethan got a horrible bacteria in his intestines called Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) which unfortunately caused him to lose most of his intestines. This sad situation led to our baby being fed intravenously, parenteral nutrition. A very sad situation, the worst for us as parents, along with the fight that my Wife continues to carry against that Cancer that led to her health deteriorating, to our emotions going down the drain and to our baby suffering due to that treacherous disease that is Cancer. This is the very unfortunate situation that we are living in. I, Frank, had to spend a season supporting my little and Beloved Family, my Wife Lily and our little Ethan, which meant I had to stop working to support them in every way. We are truly in a difficult economic situation, and we would greatly appreciate any support that you could kindly give us, with the aim of continuing to fight day by day as a family, since this fight is for all of us. ¡Hola! Somos la Familia García. Mi nombre es Frank, mi Amada Esposa es Lily y nuestro pequeño bebé se llama Ethan. Queremos platicarles nuestra Historia. ¡Recibimos la más hermosa noticia! ¡Que esperábamos nuestro primer bebé, el cual nos llenó de alegría y emoción! ¡Tristemente, después recibimos la noticia más triste que jamás nos pudiéramos imaginado! Mi Amada Esposa Lily, fue diagnosticada con un Cáncer raro y agresivo con un pronóstico de unos meses a un año de vida. Mucoso Melanoma solo le da a una de cada cien mil mujeres. Fue devastador, sentimos que nuestro mundo se derrumbó; un Cáncer junto con un embarazo. Nos invadió el miedo y el desconsuelo. Mi Esposa Lily quiso darle lo más que pudo a nuestro bebé, la mejor oportunidad de vida sin recibir los tratamientos contra el Cáncer; lamentablemente debido al Cáncer que le dio a mi esposa, nuestro bebé Ethan tuvo que nacer prematuro a las 26 semanas de gestación. Teníamos los deseos y la mejor esperanza para que nuestro bebé creciera y madurará en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales (UCIN: el lugar donde cuidan a los bebés prematuros), cuando de un día para otro, recibimos otro duro golpe en nuestras vidas; a nuestro Bebé Ethan le dio una horrible bacteria en sus intestinos llamada Enterocolitis Necrosante (ECN) la cual lamentablemente perdió la mayor parte de sus intestinos. Esa triste situación llevó a que nuestro bebé sea alimentado por las venitas, nutrición parenteral. Muy triste situación, lo peor para nosotros como padres, junto con la lucha que mi Esposa sigue llevando contra ese Cáncer que llevó a que su salud se deteriorara, a que nuestras emociones se fueran al suelo y a que nuestro bebé esté sufriendo debido a esa enfermedad tan traicionera como es el Cáncer. Esta es nuestra situación tan lamentable que estamos viviendo. Yo Frank tuve que pasar una temporada apoyando a mi pequeña y Amada Familia, mi Esposa Lily y nuestro pequeñito Ethan; lo cual tuve que dejar de trabajar con el propósito de apoyarlos en todos los sentidos. Estamos realmente en una situación económica difícil y agradeceríamos bastante cualquier apoyo que bondadosamente pudieran brindarnos, con el propósito de continuar adelante luchando día a día como familia ya que esta lucha es de todos nosotros. Muchísimas Gracias por parar a leer nuestra historia triste que estamos viviendo, esperemos en algún momento que esta situación difícil mejore con la ayuda de Nuestro Dios. Pedimos de manera respetuosa de su bondad y generosidad para continuar adelante con nuestras vidas y gastos que surgieron a Raíz de toda esta penosa situación.
