Hi, my name is Trang Banh, and I am the proud parent of my wonderful daughter, Lila Banh who is 13 years old.

From Lila's perspective, her mom drinks every other week. When she drinks, Lila gets in trouble for things that never happened. Her mother insisted that she cause trouble and punished Lila using forceful methods like yelling, hitting, accusing, name-calling, etc. Her mom has also taken Lila's electronics to use to stalk Lila when she is with me by changing my account credentials.

Lila had trouble learning at school, yet her mom did not seek out resources required. Lila has been struggling in school without parental support, help, and guidance. Then, her mom insisted on punishing her for failing classes.

Lila, at 13, should have friends, socialize, and learn the ropes of the world. Yet, instead, she is made to stay home to mother her two younger siblings while her mom drinks or goes out.

Lila does not have a life of your own because her mom has used her as an in-house babysitter and maid. Lila is to clean everything in the house and is responsible for the two siblings.

In recent years, I noticed that every time when it is time to go back home, Lila begins to shut down, get sad, or is not as energetic as before. When mom is mentioned, she facial expressions changes to a concerning look. When she mentioned that she was in trouble with her mom, Lila cried uncontrollably and hid away. Just recently, Lila felt brave enough to open up about what was happening at home. As a father to her, my duty is to protect her.

She is an intelligent, vibrant, and loving child who deserves the best opportunities in life. Currently, I am in the midst of a custody battle, and I need to hire a child custody lawyer to ensure that Lila continues to thrive in a stable and positive environment.
