Hi family and friends,

Y’all may know by now that Luke and Kim just welcomed their third sweet baby girl, Lilah, at 31 weeks.

Sweet Lilah was born with Cloacal Exstrophy, which is a rare congenital birth defect that occurs when the lower abdominal organs do not form properly during fetal development. Babies with this condition are born with organs outside the body, such as the bladder, small and large intestine.

The original plan was for Kim to go up to Philly at 32 weeks and wait it out there until she delivered Lilah so that she can receive her first of many surgeries she will have to undergo in her lifetime there at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Little did we know, Lil’ Miss Lilah had her own plans and decided to come at 31 weeks, which forced their medical team to change course and had Kim deliver Lilah in Pensacola. The next day, Lilah was then sent by herself on a Medivac flight to Philly. At 4 days old, Lilah underwent her first surgery and is doing well recovering with her mom, dad, and sisters by her side.

This GoFundMe will help Luke and Kim with some of the costs that they are going to encounter with all of Lilah’s treatments. Whatever we raise can help them with the cost of the Medivac flight, surgeries, medical bills, house bills, hotel stays, airfare, gas, and food or whatever else they may need.
