Foster Care Closet
When a child enters foster care, it often happens in the middle of the night, with no warning, no suitcase, and sometimes, nothing but the clothes on their back.
That’s where Light of Mine Ranch steps in.
We opened a Foster Care Closet on the west side of South Dakota. It is a place where children in foster care, their families, and kinship caregivers can come for free clothes, shoes, hygiene products, baby gear, and other essentials.
What started as a few shelves in an empty room has grown into a lifeline for families across our region. Every week, we receive calls from caseworkers and foster parents needing help and every time, we do our best to say yes.
But to keep saying yes, we need your help.
Why We’re Raising Funds
Your donation helps us keep this vital resource open and ready for the next child who needs it.
Your Impact
Every dollar you give goes directly toward supporting local foster children.
Each gift means that when a child arrives in a new home, scared, uncertain, and needing comfort, they have what they need to start fresh.
Our Vision
Light of Mine Ranch exists to support foster families, care for children in need, and build a community that shines light into dark places. The Foster Care Closet is just one piece of that mission. It’s where love becomes visible, one outfit, one smile, one moment at a time.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference in the life of a child, this is your chance.

Give today and help us keep the shelves full, the lights on, and the love flowing.
