Support Ligaya Escueta & Her Bands’s Journey to SXSW Sydney

Donation protected
This October 15–18, Ligaya Escueta and her band will represent the Philippines at SXSW Sydney, one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Being selected as one of the country’s indie representatives is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we need your help to get there.
Ligaya and her bandmates have to cover all their expenses on their own: airfare, accommodations, visas, food, and everything in between. With three members still in senior high and college (Ligaya Escueta, Kristo Mercado, and Diego Cerrudo) and one (Ninja Nicolas) just starting his first job as a cook, this dream comes with a price tag they can’t shoulder alone.
By contributing, you’re not just helping four young Filipino musicians get to Sydney, you’re helping them share their music, their story, and their generation’s voice on an international stage. Every donation, big or small, brings them closer to playing their hearts out in front of the global music community.
This isn’t just a trip; it’s an incredible journey that could shape their future in music. And you can be part of it.

About Ligaya Escueta
At just 18, Ligaya Escueta is making waves in the indie rock scene with her raw, guitar-driven sound inspired by Weezer, Blur, and Mitski. Her music feels like the perfect soundtrack to growing up, equal parts nostalgic, authentic, and fresh.
She recently released her sophomore album “Dollweb” on her 18th birthday in 2025, solidifying her place as one of the most exciting young voices in the Philippine indie scene. Beyond writing
