Support Lifelong Care for a Gentle Soul Without a Family
Imagine losing touch with reality at age 10—and never finding your way back. This is the reality for a kind and vulnerable man whose life was forever changed by a mysterious illness in childhood. At just ten years old, his voice began to rumble, his limbs weakened, and he drifted away from the world around him. Since then, he’s been unable to care for himself or connect meaningfully with reality.
For decades, he was lovingly cared for by his devoted poor parents in a village near Madurai, India. But life took another painful turn—they’ve both passed away, leaving him orphaned and alone, with no property, inheritance, or means of support.
What We’re Doing
I came across him during a recent trip to a temple and he needs our help. A few of us who know his story are stepping up to ensure he continues to live with dignity. We’re creating a dedicated care fund, which will be invested in a secure bank account to generate monthly interest for his essential care needs. Your donation helps build a sustainable foundation—support not just for today, but for every day after. I will take personal responsibility of this funds and anyone who wants to make sure of this authenticity can reach out to me directly, we will arrange a video call to see him. We reached to various government agencies to help but things take longer and not easy with too many people with too less facilities and awareness in India about mental health.
How You Can Help
No contribution is too small. Whether it’s $10 or $100, you’re helping create safety and comfort for someone who truly needs it. The amount you spend on Starbucks coffee or a dozen donuts, when donated, can go a long way in helping a soul.
Share this story. Spread the word to reach more hearts who may want to help.
❤️ Why It Matters
He didn’t choose his condition. He didn’t choose to lose his parents or be left without support. But with your generosity, we can choose to stand beside him and offer the stability he deserves. Your compassion can be the bridge to a better life—for someone who has known little else but silence and suffering.
