What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what
kind of a difference you want to make. - Jane Goodall

A year ago, I never imagined I’d be part of incredible organizations like World Vets, Antigua Street Dogs, and Soulshine Guatemala. Helping both people and animals has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life — and I’ve been deeply touched by the kindness of the Guatemalan people, their rich culture, and the unspeakable beauty of Antigua and its surrounding countryside.

In a few weeks I will again travel to Guatemala to volunteer in a spay/neuter field clinic through World Vets, in collaboration with Antigua Street Dogs. During this trip, I am also sponsoring a Day of Giving with Soulshine Guatemala. These organizations are doing life-changing work every single day, caring for those who need it most.

But I need your help!

Please consider donating - even the smallest contribution makes a huge difference! All donations are tax deductible. Upon request, you will receive a receipt directly from Soulshine Guatemala, a USA-based 501c3 non-profit, for your tax records.

I would be immensely grateful for any financial assistance with the following:

Pacaya Volcano Day of Giving (total cost to sponsor - $2,000)
November 7. This is a day-long event that provides free horse feed and vet care for the horses owned by Mayan vaqueros. These horses are utilized for Pacaya Volcano tours, thus providing a livelihood for each vaquero and his family.

Antigua Street Dogs (for spay/neuter clinic supplies) ($1,000)
November 4-6. This organization works in conjunction with World Vets to provide 3-day spay and neuter clinics for underserved populations. Vets travel from all over the USA to volunteer their time and expertise to make this clinic happen.

Transportation fees ($1000)
I have collected a massive amount of gear and supplies from my own generous community, and will have to pay for air transport to Guatemala. Any financial help here would ensure that all of the donations are sent, rather than just the portion I can afford.

You can’t change the world on your own, but find a cause you care about, and their world is changed more than you’ll ever know …
