At Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy, we are a small school with a big heart. Focused on equity for marginalized groups, we center our students in a variety of experiences designed to guide them well into the future. For the past two years, we have taken students overseas to various countries to show them the importance of experiencing the world. Most of our students have never left their neighborhood, let alone the state. For our scholars, this becomes life-changing and shows them that all dreams are possible. From Costa Rica to Italy and Greece, we are hoping to provide these impactful experiences to even more scholars. In fact, this will be our most extensive trip yet. For March 2027, students will have the opportunity to experience Japan! As the cost per individual student is $5,519, we are asking for donations to make this trip more accessible. Any contribution brings our students one step closer to seeing all that the world has to offer.
