So, i’m not one to sit here and ask for help from people (except my mom and dad ) but has everyone knows i’ve been fighting/dealing with breast cancer for 5 years and dealing with it in my brain for 4 years, i’ve been multiple places and gotten multiple second options. Couple months ago I heard of a place in Chicago, and I’ve since had several zoom meetings with different doctors there and besides changing my entire diet (which I am slowly working on) i need to get up there every 21 days after having chemo infusion here to get several iv infusions there that I can not available here in SC. Unfortunately the medicine is not covered by insurance so I will be paying out of pocket every time, on top of lodging and flight. Plus i will need to purchase several vitamins monthly. This could change my entire life and keep me around for along time! The infusions up there are to fight off what is causing the cancer and make it disappear and put me in 100% remission, once i get into remission i will not have to go up there but every 3-6 months for scans, good news is once i get into remission i won’t have to be on chemo anymore. (which i’ve been told i will be on chemo me entire life). These infusions up there will also help with side effects to my current chemo drug im on and let me live life again without being sick. Ive talked to multiple people that have been to this place and they truly believe thats why they are still here today! One guy i spoke with over the phone this past weekend, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer got clear in 2018 and hasnt been on chemo since, he just has scans every 6 months. After I get into remission im only looking at about $500 a month for the vitamins. Thanks everyone for continuing to pray for me!

Even anyone who knows anyone with a personal air plane that I could pay some to get me up there would be greatly appreciated!

Update: I went up to the block center had two infusions, one Monday and one Tuesday. I spoke with Dr Block Tuesday and he has advised that I need to move up my infusions to five different medicines and come four three days of infusions every 6 weeks.

He would like me to come four times for 6 months and then after that I will only have to go once every three months. But once again insurance doesn’t cover this treatment and it’s 4950 every six weeks I go, equalling up to 20,000 for 6 months.
