My Story

Hello beautiful souls, my name is Tara, and I’m reaching out with an open heart to share my story and ask for your support during a deeply transformative time in my life.

Over the past few years, I’ve been navigating significant health challenges that have affected my ability to work, move, care for myself, and live fully. My body experiences life through Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which means it’s uniquely wired and differently abled than most. Because of this condition, I’ve developed several co-occurring chronic issues that have greatly diminished my quality of life and my capacity to serve humanity in the way my heart longs to.

After much evaluation, my doctors have recommended a three-part surgery that has the potential to restore many aspects of my health. This condition is currently affecting my brain and nervous system, and this procedure offers hope for renewed balance, energy, and relief. This surgery represents not just physical healing—it’s a step toward reclaiming my vitality, independence, and the ability to continue sharing my purpose: helping others connect deeply with themselves and live authentically.

As someone who has devoted her life to guiding and uplifting others, asking for help does not come easily. Yet I’ve learned that healing often begins with allowing ourselves to receive. I’m practicing trust—in the generosity of community and the power of collective compassion. Your support—whether through donations, prayers, or sharing my story—means more than words can express.

How the Funds Will Be Used

There are only three surgeons in the United States who perform this specialized procedure, and none of them accept my insurance. Expenses are extensive, and every contribution will directly support my healing journey and the practical steps needed for recovery:

• Medical expenses for doctor visits, pre-op treatments, physical therapy, and surgery

• Recovery care including post-operative support and rehabilitation

• Travel, lodging, and meals for surgery and short-term recovery

• Supportive tools and supplements for healing and mobility

My family has already carried the financial weight of out-of-network specialists to reach this diagnosis and path forward. I’m not in a position to fund this surgery alone, so my goal is to raise as much as possible to cover these essentials with stability, dignity, and grace.
