This August, a team from Life Church will be traveling back to Guaimaca, Honduras to serve at the Cristo de la Rey CarePoint through Children’s Cup — a place that has become deeply meaningful to many of us.
If you’ve followed these trips before, you know the impact this ministry has on the children there. Many of these kids face daily challenges that most of us will never experience — inconsistent access to food, limited resources, and difficult living conditions. Yet somehow, they greet us every time with smiles, joy, and a spirit that is impossible to forget.
Over the past trips, our church has had the privilege of building relationships with these children, helping improve the facilities, and providing resources that directly impact their daily lives. From supporting the CarePoint programs to organizing Christmas drives that provided essential items for the kids, we’ve seen firsthand how even small acts of generosity can make a real difference.
This year, our mission has a very specific and meaningful goal.
We are working to build a kitchen at the CarePoint.
Right now, preparing and serving meals to the children is extremely difficult due to limited facilities. A proper kitchen will allow the team there to prepare food safely, serve more children consistently, and support the daily nutrition these kids rely on through the program.
Something as simple as a kitchen may not seem life-changing to us, but for these children it means reliable meals, better health, and a stronger foundation for the entire CarePoint ministry.
That’s where we’re asking for help.
If you feel led to support this mission, we are raising funds to help cover the materials, construction, and resources needed to complete this kitchen project and the teams travel. Every donation, no matter the size, directly contributes to improving the lives of these children.
If you would like to be part of what God is doing in Guaimaca, you can donate here on the GoFundMe
Your generosity truly makes this possible. Thank you for helping us continue to serve, love, and invest in these kids who deserve so much.

Thank you for being part of this mission.
