Hello, everyone. My name is Lidia Medel. On January 8th, 2025, I lost my home and all of my belongings to the devastating Eaton fire in Altadena, California. I am 63 years old and am accompanied by my 19-and-a-half-year-old dapple dachshund, Lola.

Lola and I are grateful to have been evacuated in time. We are indebted to our first responders for putting their lives on the line for us and countless others. Though we are devastated and in mourning for the life we once knew, we are grateful for those who have shown their kindness, compassion, and generosity towards us. Thank you for contributing to this fundraiser and for helping us recover.
