As some of you may know our Great Granddaughter Liberty was diagnosed with Kawasaki’s Disease & bicuspid Aortic Valve at the end of March two weeks after the birth of their second child. After 4 different trips to her pediatrician due to her not being able to walk, high fevers and blood shot eyes and multiple misdiagnosis’s they decided to take her to Primary’s Children’s hospital. Within 5 minutes of being there our sweet Libbie was coded and rushed back to a room where 15+ doctors and nurses waited for her. She was diagnosed with Kawasaki’s disease. A disease I’m sure like us many of you have never heard of. It attacks the blood vessels in the body and the heart. She was then admitted to the hospital for four days, where she received IVIG treatment. Just two weeks prior they were celebrating the birth of their second child Mayzie Grace and Libbie was so excited to be a big sister to then her laying in a hospital bed hooked up to all different kind of machines unable to move and fighting for her life. Libbie has since been discharged but still has a dilation on her aorta and an heart aneurysm. She is still healing and will need to be followed closely with another echo in October. In the mix of all of this Sadie was not able to keep her job. She is the one who had their medical benefits. With Chase being the only one working currently they are in need of all of our love and support. Any amount will help them be able to breathe a little easier at night With medical bills and living expenses. Sadie will also be getting a hysterectomy in the next few months due to her own health issues.
