Update 01/27/2025:

Devastatingly, Libby’s cancer has returned after only 2 months of remission. She now faces the process of getting a bone marrow transplant in hopes for a cure. This will put her and family members out of work for an extended period once the procedure takes place. Anything helps and we greatly appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers. Libby will beat this cancer!

Hello friends and family, on May 17, 2024 my sister, Libby Pumo, was diagnosed with ALK-postive anaplastic large cell lymphoma. This has been difficult news for her, our family, and many others as Libby is young, vibrant and full of life. We have no doubt in our minds that she will be strong and fight this cancer vigorously. However, she will bear not only physical and mental burdens of fighting cancer, but also the financial burdens. Although she has health insurance and a great support systems, the medical bills are already adding up as she has been in the hospital receiving care and soon she will have to move towards her cancer treatment. In no way do we want anyone to feel pressure to contribute, but if you feel inclined to give, all of the money raised here will go towards medical bills and other living expenses.
