Hello, I am Elizabeth (Libby or Li to my friends/family). I am 30 years old and a single parent to a 5-year-old son. I am lucky enough to have people in my life to step up and help me with my son as much as possible.

I ended 2025 by finding out I had what we thought was stage 2 breast cancer, ER/PR negative, Her2 positive.

January 21, after running CT scans, PET scans, body scans, and a few other blood tests, we found out it had metastasized into my bones, which now puts me at stage 4. I am currently still attempting to work, but between doctor's appointments for myself and making sure my son's health needs are taken care of, I am struggling to make ends meet.

People say when it rains, it pours, and I believe them, because along with me starting chemo in February, my son will also be having surgery for his bicuspid valve on Feb 11th.

I am only asking for enough help to help me pay a few months of bills to give me some cushion until I can get on disability. If I manage to get only 1300 that's enough to cover my rent and give me breathing room to figure out other resources.
