Meet Libby, a bold and inspiring young trans woman whose passion for performance and art lights up every room she enters. A vibrant personality in the Manchester ballroom scene, Libby uses her creative expression not only as a form of joy and resistance but also as a tool for advocacy—consistently speaking up for those whose voices too often go unheard.
We’re hoping to raise £550 to help Libby update essential legal documentation—including (but not limited to) her deed poll, birth certificate, and an Irish passport. These updates are vital steps in allowing Libby to move through the world with greater safety, autonomy, and dignity. In addition to documentation fees, part of this sum will help cover necessary travel expenses, as Libby navigates these changes while managing intermittent mobility issues.
As a disabled trans woman, Libby faces additional systemic barriers that make accessing basic services far more complex and costly. Community support plays a crucial role in helping her overcome these challenges, and every contribution—no matter the size—goes directly toward making that journey more accessible.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Libby is committed to collective care and regularly participates in efforts that uplift and support marginalized communities. By donating, you’re not only affirming her right to live authentically—you’re investing in someone who continues to pour love and energy back into the world around her.
Thank you for your support and solidarity—it truly means everything.
