Hello. My name is Lia. I am a wildlife rehabber in Benson,Vermont. I take in orphaned and injured wildlife and then release them when they are adults or healed. I am listed as a rabies vector rehabber. This means that I can take in foxes, raccoons, skunks, coyotes and others that can carry rabies. We vaccinate all animals for rabies prior to release. This act of love, takes a lot of time and money. I do one fundraiser a year to help offset the costs of food, housing and vaccines. We are not paid for what we do. It is an act of love.
