My name is Liana Abreu Navarrete, and I’m thrilled to be starting my first year in TeenSHARP—a program that’s helping students like me get ready to attend one of the top colleges in the country, on the best financial aid possible. As a Latina student, this opportunity means everything to me. TeenSHARP is giving me the tools, confidence, and community I need to stay sharp academically and continue striving for excellence.
One of my biggest dreams is to attend The University of Southern California, and TeenSHARP is walking with me every step of the way to make that dream a reality. Throughout the school year, I’ll take part in college readiness workshops, group advising, and work closely with expert mentors to apply for enrichment programs and leadership opportunities. I’ll also get the chance to participate in virtual college tours and connect directly with students, faculty, and admissions teams from some of the most competitive schools in the country.
To help cover the cost of my participation, I’m raising $350 by August 1st. Any donation—big or small—would mean the world to me and bring me one step closer to a future where I can graduate college with little to no debt and come back to serve the community that raised me.
