Some of you may be familiar with the Nunez family's journey. About 7 years ago, Tony was diagnosed with ALS; a heartbreaking, incurable illness that has left him wheelchair-bound and unable to speak.

Sadly, today their family received more devastating news: their oldest daughter, Liana, was diagnosed with Leukemia. This was completely unexpected and has shaken them to their core.

Cori has faithfully served as Tony's full-time caregiver, and she now faces the incredible challenge of caring for her husband while also needing to stay an hour away with Liana as she begins intensive treatment.

The emotional, physical, and financial weight is overwhelming. ALS is often called the "million dollar disease" because of how expensive the care can be. Now, with Liana's cancer diagnosis, the family faces a double financial obligation, which will create additional financial pressure. (In the midst of all this, Cori also has a job, just so she can support her family.)

This sweet family has walked through more than most of us could imagine. Please keep them in your prayers; that God would give them grace to endure the road ahead, and peace to calm their anxious hearts.
