Our family recently experienced something unexpected that has changed our lives in many ways. My brother, Liam, was seriously injured when a gas can exploded near a fire, leaving him with significant burns. He was airlifted to a specialized hospital, where he is now receiving the care he needs and beginning the process of healing. Liam has a long road ahead, including skin graft procedures and ongoing treatment to help him recover. While he is strong and in good hands, the journey will take time, patience, and support.
If you know Liam, you know he’s someone who cares about the people around him. He’s always been the kind of person you can count on, and it’s been hard to see him go through something like this. At the same time, we’re incredibly grateful for the care he’s receiving and the progress he’s already making. As he focuses on healing, there are many expenses that come along with this kind of injury—he had to get medvac out of Valdez and may need to travel for further treatment. We’re starting this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden so Liam can focus fully on getting better.
If you feel moved to support Liam, we truly appreciate it. And if you’re not able to give, sharing this page or keeping him in your thoughts means just as much. Thank you for your kindness and support during this time—it means more than we can say.
