Hi everyone,

I want to share with you a story of my friend Liam. Liam is a 7 year-old boy full of energy and joy. You would never know by looking at him how rocky his journey has been since the day he was born.

Just after birth, Liam was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure and was not expected to live more than a few months. He needed a transplant in order to live. Mom and Dad were told to prepare themselves for the worst.

Beyond all expectations, Liam has fought so hard and is still here today. He has endured countless surgeries, hospital stays, appointments, medications, procedures and so much more in his short 7 years. He has been off and on dialysis since he was 5 months old.

Liam enjoys doing so many things just like any boy his age. Some of which are: camping with his family, having cozy movie nights, playing with his dogs, and reading Where's Waldo before bed at night. This kid has never met a stranger. Anyone who knows him knows his love. He is the type of kid that just makes you smile.

Now after battling this chronic disease, Liam is now to the point where he truly needs that transplant. This is lifesaving. This is urgent. And this will surely be a financial burden on the family. This family is so deserving. They are a God-fearing household, who give 100% to their friends, their family and their faith. As you can imagine, the medical bills just keep going up. Once Liam has his transplant (or "kidney-plant, as he calls it), Dad will have to be off of work for several months without pay. As you can imagine, for a family of 6, this just isn't ideal.

I started this GoFundMe to help lessen this burden the best I can. The family should not be worried about money; they need to be focused on helping Liam through this time. You can help by donating to the cause - any amount will help. Prayers are always appreciated - prayers for the doctors, prayers for a kidney, prayers for healing, prayers for the parents as they walk this path with their little boy.
