Support Liam's All-Terrain Wheelchair Dream
Donation protected
In 2019, Liam Renne was diagnosed with a rare degenerative nervous system disease, Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA). FA affects 1 out of 40,000 people worldwide. Liam continues to fight daily to ward off the effects of this debilitating disease, however, he has reached the need for a wheelchair.
Liam is happiest outdoors. Growing up, he enjoyed hunting and exploring with his dad. Weekends at the hunting shack remain one of his favorite memories. However, most standard wheelchairs cannot travel across hiking paths and through woods. This limits Liam’s ability to enjoy what he loves most. Recently, Liam had the opportunity to use an all-terrain wheelchair at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park in Minnesota, which brought back great memories.
Our family’s dream is to get Liam back outside! We are raising money to help cover the costs to buy an all-terrain wheelchair so he can enjoy the simple pleasure of time outdoors!
