Liam Hughes has discovered a brand-new passion—racing. He’s never competed before, but after being introduced to the sport, he’s set his sights on becoming a professional driver. This isn’t just a hobby for Liam—it’s a new dream, one that gives him a sense of purpose, excitement, and something to work toward during one of the hardest times of his life.
Liam recently lost his father just before Christmas, leaving his family facing an unimaginable loss. His mother is now raising four young children on her own while also caring for her elderly mother. Despite everything, she wants to help Liam chase this dream, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
Unlike many young racers who grow up in the sport, Liam is starting completely from scratch. That means we need help getting him the proper equipment, preparing his car, and covering the costs of competition.

Known as the largest micro-sprint race in the country, the Tulsa Shootout attracts the best up-and-coming talent in dirt track racing.
