Support Liam Feeney's USA Rowing Dream

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kelly Cosgrove and I'd like to take a moment to tell you a little about an amazing athlete from Buffalo NY, who also happens to be my wildly talented nephew, Liam Feeney.

Liam Feeney, born and raised in West Seneca, NY, a 2025 Canisius High School Graduate and Boston University, D1 committed athlete for rowing got the "call" of a lifetime this past weekend. He has been invited to attend U.S. Rowing Selection Camp, in Chula Vista, California, where he will train with the rest of Team USA for five weeks before traveling to Trakai, Lithuania this August to race at the U19 World Rowing Championship.

From Liam:
"Ever since I became an oarsmen, I’ve been dedicated to doing my absolute best. From long hours at the boathouse, being the first one awake in the neighborhood to go to practice, painful blisters, to never giving up. It has been one of the bumpiest roads I’ve gone down in my life but through every turn, my hard work pays off. The sport of rowing and attending Canisius High School has taught me valuable life skills. It has taught me to be a leader, a gentleman, good work ethic, how to respect others and build long lasting relationships, and what it takes to be great. Representing the United States has always been my number 1 goal and dream in sports. Since watching the movie, Miracle on Ice, for the first time, watching them win gold. I couldn’t have been more inspired to represent my country. I have been given this opportunity and with your help can make it a reality."

I know what this once in a lifetime opportunity means to Liam and our family, which is why I’m asking for your help. How many kids from Buffalo NY can compete like this on a world stage??? Liam will be leaving June 23rd and this sudden qualification has created an immediate financial need. Every donation, no matter the size will help bring Liam one step closer to competing with TEAM USA.

What are we fundraising for?
Training, travel, lodging, coaching, gear, team fees and other expenses create a significant barrier, especially under such time constraints. Your support, is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to give at this time, simply sharing this fundraiser with others makes a big difference and means the world to Liam and our family.

Thank you for your time.
