A Friend in Need: Supporting Lhanze Kohr

Our friend, Lhanze Kohr, experienced a serious riding accident yesterday at Thunderbird Show Park. She sustained a broken left leg, a critical vertical shear fracture of her pelvis, and significant damage to her spleen and bladder. She is currently in Canada awaiting to be transferred to Harborview Medical Center a series of surgeries to repair all of her injuries.

As a dedicated horse trainer and the heart behind Kohr Values Equine, this accident is not only physically devastating but deeply impacts the work she loves. Lhanze has a long road to recovery ahead. And while we know she has the strength, resilience, and determination to overcome this, she shouldn’t have to face it alone.

Lhanze has always run her business—and lived her life—with unwavering kindness, integrity, and generosity. She helps horses find their next chapter and supports fellow riders with open arms and a full heart. If you've ever had an emergency, Lhanze was already on her way.
