Our district has hundreds of students that rely on school for free and reduced-price meals all week, and this presents an additional challenge to families across the community during lengthy and uncertain school closures due to CoronaVirus. Please help support local families across the district - during this time, finding their next meal should be the least of these students' worries. All donations received will be given to the district office to purchase Safeway gift cards for families in need, and it will require approximately $15,000 to support qualifying students district-wide for the current closure period.

While students qualifying for free and reduced meals can still receive food from the district during the closure, they are required to find transport to and from the district office each day to pick up meals. By providing them with gift cards instead, they can purchase their own food in bulk and minimize transportation and time outside of the home.
