Hey there all,

As some of you may or may not know, my mom, Lisa Lehman, has recently been diagnosed with an advanced stage of lung cancer. She is now staying with me, and I am currently on FMLA unpaid leave to care for her. Her surgeons and oncologists have all urged her to be as active as possible to regain partial use of her right lung, which has collapsed. Although she was given home oxygen and some tanks to travel with, they are difficult for her to stay mobile and independent with due to their weight. In order to be as active and independent as possible, she could really benefit from portable oxygen machines, specifically an Inogen Rove 6. These machines are incredibly costly and unfortunately we are being told that her insurance would not be able to cover it for several months, which is too long. This fund would go straight to the cost of the Inogen, its accessories, Lisa's care and ease of burden to allow her to continue having the quality of life she deserves.
