Support Lex's Journey to Stability and Healing

Hey all, my name is Lex and I am a queer, mixed Indigenous woman that lives in LA by myself, pursuing my dreams. It has been very difficult over the last year getting out of a really toxic relationship, losing my job and community, and trying to stay afloat while trying to heal. I have 3 part-time jobs while still pursuing my passion and career in the dance industry. I have been applying for a full-time job relentlessly and even tried to start my own business and have been applying for grants, but nothing has come my way yet. With the holidays coming up, I don't plan to go home because of finances and two of my jobs close through the holidays so I won't be making what I am now. I don't have much community, but I am looking for community support as I've been trying to catch back up with finances for over a year now.

My car is over 250,000 miles and is on its way out unless I can replace both catalytic converters, which is over 2k, and I've been having a hard time making rent most months. It is roughly $2,200 a month for rent, utilities, and groceries. It would help me catch up tremendously to have 2 months covered and be able to fix my car or use the money I raise to replace the catalytic converters or to do a down payment on a new car that I know won't give up on me. Anything you can contribute would be amazing! It is so hard for me to ask for help, and sometimes we all need a little bit of help.
