Lexi is a sweet and loyal Malinois mix who has never given up on people, even when life has been hard on her. At 1, she was surrendered to the pound by her family but was rescued by Forte Animal Rescue in 2022 to search for a committed adopter. For years, she bounced around temporary living arrangements, developing insecurity and distrust. It's hard for people to see beyond the reactions to notice she is not broken but a dog with a lot of love.

Lexi (now 5) has the opportunity to spend some time with a skilled trainer to provide stability and confidence-building with hopes of finding her forever family. We think she has waited long enough but need to raise $1,000 to make this happen. Can you help support Lexi?
