Hi! I’m Lexi, and I’m a senior at IU Bloomington studying psychology and criminal justice with a 4.0. I recently won an award to obtain a Master’s degree in International Crime, Conflict, and Criminology at VU Amsterdam in Amsterdam, NL! I’m super excited to continue my education at VU, especially since I’ve never been abroad before - the last big hurdle for accepting this opportunity is funding my tuition.

I know this is a big goal. I have saved up throughout the year and will continue to work through the summer to contribute as much as I can toward the total - I’m a college student from a working class family, so I dearly appreciate all the help I can get. Any funds received from this campaign will go toward tuition. Thank you for anything you can give, whether it’s funds or sharing!!

I hope to use this Master's to eventually obtain a Ph.D. and contribute to human rights NGOs, specifically focusing on youth rights to empower and protect youth internationally. I am also hoping to use my time in Amsterdam to volunteer with de Regenboog Groep (the Rainbow Group), a social service organization dedicated to providing support and resources to people suffering from social challenges like poverty, addiction, and homelessness. I would love to contribute everything I can while abroad!
