Lexie Aceves has been my dear friend and former coworker for over 18 years. We were team teachers in kindergarten for many years, and I’ve seen firsthand how much she gives to her students, friends, and family. Lexie is the kind of person who is always there for others, quietly supporting her loved ones, her church, and anyone in need, never asking for anything in return.

Recently, Lexie was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. She is now off work so she can focus on her health, undergo surgery, and begin treatment.
