My name is Lexie, Age 15 and I have been accepted into The School Of Ballet Theatre UK. I will be studying BA (HONS) Ballet Performance, achieving my degree at the age of 19. I was successful through a day of auditioning alongside other dancers around the UK, performing classic Ballet, en pointe and contemporary to a judging panel and ending the day with a personal interview. I have had other offers for Diplomas in dance at other professional dance schools but i have chosen Ballet theatre, as Ballet is my passion. I currently attend two local dance schools; Step by Step School Of Dance and Ignite Dance Academy. I also attend S-MB Ballet association in Glasgow. I am looking for financial support to fund my BA in ballet performance that student finance doesn't cover from any businesses or individuals who are able to sponsor/support me. These fees are my enrollment, accommodation deposit and yearly enrichment course. Although living in West Cumbria has been a struggle auditioning against private professional school dancers, I hope I can inspire others in my community to follow their dreams and be able to give back to Cumbria.
