Support Lex, Markell, and Their Girls

Yesterday, my son-in-law Markell experienced every family’s worst nightmare. While driving home from a pickup for work, Markell was run off the road by a semi-truck, causing his 26-foot box truck to flip multiple times. By a miracle, he was able to walk away from the accident, but he was left with injuries that will take time to heal.

Markell is a hardworking, dedicated father who provides for my daughter Lex and their two precious little girls, with another beautiful baby arriving very soon. Because he works as a subcontractor, Markell will not receive any income during his recovery. This leaves their family facing the overwhelming stress of how to manage medical bills, groceries, rent, and everyday essentials at a time when they should be joyfully preparing to welcome a new life.

As their mom, it breaks my heart to see their beautiful family under so much stress. My hope is that together, we can ease their burden and give Markell the space and peace of mind he needs to fully recover. Every donation, big or small, will help this loving family get through these difficult weeks ahead.
