Lewis was diagnosed with a kidney disease called Alport Syndrome in January 2022 at age 26. He is an amazing husband and father to 2 sweet, young children. In May 2024 he was in End stage renal failure and started Peritoneal dialysis. which he does every night for 7 hours.

He is on the list for a donor kidney and anticipates a transplant in the future! Which we are all excited about but there will be lots of extra costs associated with the transplant and he's expected to be off work for approximately 4- 6months post transplant. The funds will go towards expenses from our one hour travel to the hospital, logding, uncovered medical bills and prescriptions, and for expenses occurred while he can't work and won't have an income!
