Support Lewis & Katelyn's Final Tribute
Donation protected
On June 12, 2024, Father's Day, my daughter Katelyn Rose came by to wish her sick dad a Happy Father's Day. She said she would come back later, but that was the last time we saw her alive. She passed away that night at the age of 32. She was not just our daughter but the loving mother of 3 children. Her father, Lewis Holland, had been sick for the last 15 years, but it worsened in the last five. He had both Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Colon Cancer. In 8 months, I lost half of my immediate family. They are buried side by side, but funerals are expensive, $10,000 each and headstones are too. When my husband passed, I lost not only my life partner and friend but half my income too. I'm asking for your support. My oldest daughter tried to do a GoFundMe, but my email was down just as we were trying to transfer the money. It was refunded to everyone. Please help me give my family the headstones they deserve and help me with the debt from 2 funerals in 8 months.
It’s been almost a year since Katie died. The longest year of my life. I couldn’t mourn her because my husband entered hospice 2 days after she passed. Hospice gave me time to say goodbye and say all the things I needed to say and hear from him. After he passed it was hard because I’d just lost my best friend and husband but the grief I’d been putting off for Katie came roaring to life. Her children who spent most of their lives at my home are not allowed to see me. I’m now living on social security and want to fight for visitation, just a day a month, but 2 burials, 2 headstones, and a lawyer are beyond my expenses. Please help me by donating anything you can.
