Lewis Horton, a beloved friend, teammate, and family man, has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This devastating condition affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness and loss of mobility. Lewis has always been a fighter on and off the pitch, and now he needs our support more than ever.
We are raising funds to make a real difference in two ways:
Supporting Lewis and his family – Lauren, Lachlan, and Lilly – to help ease the financial and emotional burden during this challenging time.
Donating to the MND Association, a charity dedicated to improving care and funding vital research to find a cure.
All donations will be equally split between these two causes.
To celebrate Lewis and rally the community, we’re hosting a charity football match on Sunday, 23rd November at Cirencester Town Football Ground.
The event will feature players past and present who have shared the pitch with Lewis from the Cirencester area, as well as teams from Cheltenham Civil Service, where Lewis played previously.
It promises to be a day of football, friendship, and fundraising for an incredible cause.
Please give what you can and share this page widely. Together, we can support Lewis and help fight MND.
