Support Lewis Family

Nakia Crisler-Lewis; a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and coworker. Nakia suddenly passed away on December 21, 2021. We ask to kindly respect the privacy of her friends and family during this time of grieving. 

 

Nakia has only recently started as a Service Coordinator in the Neuro ICU but she has made such an amazing impact and brought such joy to our unit. I speak for everyone that has worked with her that she would always make us laugh and not the normal chuckle it was always a deep stomach laugh. She started training on our unit back in September. She was always hard working and willing to help out wherever she could. We all witnessed her grow into this service coordinator role, which can be very overwhelming at times, and she did it with such grace and smile on her face no matter how stressful it would get.

 

Although she only worked on our unit for a short time, she was always considered family from day one. Nakia is and will always be apart of our healthcare family. We all already miss her dearly and can only imagine the amount of pain her family is enduring.

 

We want to step in and help her family in this difficult time and hopefully provide healing. They are in need of many prayers, lots of love, and donations if you are able to do so. All proceeds will go to her family to assist in all funeral and memorial costs. It will also assist in relieving some stress to allow for healing as Nakia and her Husband, Justin, have three children together and two grandchildren.
