Support Lewie's Recovery After Accident

Overnight Lewis was put on life support due to complications from his injuries they were unable to stabilize him and unfortunately this morning he passed. Thank you everyone for your generous donations. All donations will be given to the family either for medical bills or for funeral arrangements.

I'm setting up a gofundme to help a fellow chicago racetrack worker. Lewie has been around the chicago racetrack for a very long time galloping and ponying. On Sunday morning, he was involved in a training injury, and he was rushed to the hospital. The accident left him with a broken vertebrae, injured spinal cord, several cracked ribs, and internal bleeding which led to urgent surgery taking about 7 hours. He is currently paralyzed from the waist down but they are hopeful with rehab and time, he will regain lower body function. He will be in icu for 2 weeks and then on to rehab if everything goes as planned.

I'm hoping if we all can chip in a little, we can help offset the medical bills on his long road to recovery and helping his girlfriend Jessie and him transition their home to make it more accessible for him.
