morning of April 26th our beloved Levi House again became a hero saving his girls, girlfriend, and house from being hurt or burned in a unexpected kitchen fire. Levi put himself in harms way to ensure everyone else’s safety and in result sustained substantial burns to over 30% of his body from the belly button down to his feet as well as his hands and arms. He was rushed to shelby hospital where he was stabilized and they did there best to help with the pain. After about an hour he was transferred to Butterworth hospital where he has been reviving the best care possible. His first surgery was April 28th where they cleaned all of his wounds and applied skin grafts from a donor. On June first they took him back again and washed and removed what was needed to allow for fresh tissue growth. At this point they have been coming in and doing physical therapy with him daily and working towards him being able to sit in a chair. June 4th he was brought back again for another round of cleaning and this time they used allographs to apply fresh skin. He explained it as they grew some of his own skin in a lab and sprayed it on his wounds should help out a lot. After this last surgery the pain and discomfort feels like a setback but also crucial for healing and moving forward. 24 hrs after his surgery all of his bandages and bedding needed changed as his body has been working overtime to rebuild.

levi is looking at an extended stay down here in Grand Rapids at the hospital with no date of release at this time. After going home he will have a very long road of recovery and endless amounts of work and stress to maintain and rebuild life as it is now.

to help relieve some stress and burden I am putting this go fund me together to help cover his medical bills that will sure be showing up as well as any other bills and obligations he is required to pay. As you know the rising prices all around us will affect him and his family tremendously and we should all pull together for those in need.
