We’re asking for lots of prayers for Levi. A couple of days ago, Levi’s left arm function seemed significantly worse, and after a visit to the ER, St. Jude recommended an MRI. The next day, Levi began falling more at school and seemed “off.” Another ER visit and a CT scan revealed swelling in his brain, substantial tumor growth, and bleeding within his tumor. The ER team worked closely with St. Jude, and it was recommended that Levi start steroids and prepare for transport to Memphis. Due to the urgency, Levi needed medical transport, and after a few delays, a flight team was gathered to get him to St. Jude for immediate care.
Levi is now in Memphis, where he was admitted to the hospital for surgery and treatment. Levi and his family will be at St. Jude’s for at least the next six weeks while he undergoes surgery and begins recovery. Being far from home during this time will be challenging for the whole family, especially for his parents, Craig and Rachel, who plan to be by his side throughout.
The family is so grateful for the prayers, love, and support from friends, family, and the community. Your kindness helps care for Levi’s sisters and gives Craig and Rachel strength to focus on Levi’s recovery. Any support you can offer—whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this story—means the world to Levi and his family.
