Our sweet boy Levi is 13 years old and has been a deeply loved member of our family for so many years. Recently, he began having unexplained seizures and issues with breathing, and it has been one of the most terrifying and heartbreaking things we have ever experienced. Seeing him go through this has left us feeling helpless, and all we want is to help him feel safe and comfortable again.

Over the past several days, Levi has been in and out of the emergency vet hospital, undergoing testing, monitoring, and treatment to try to understand what is causing these seizures and how to stop them. Because the cause is still unknown, the veterinarians have had to run multiple tests and keep him under close care. Unfortunately, the cost of these emergency visits, tests, medications, and continued treatment is quickly becoming overwhelming.

Levi isn’t just a dog — he is our best friend and constant companion. He has been by our side through so many chapters of life, offering comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love every single day. Right now, my mom is unable to work due to a disability, and I am a full time nursing student, which has made this sudden medical crisis even harder to manage financially.

Levi deserves every chance to keep fighting and to spend more time with the people who love him most. We are doing everything we can to make sure he gets the care he needs, but we can’t do it alone.
