Levi is a bright and caring 7th-grade student at Boardman Middle School. Just last week, what started as a case of influenza A quickly turned into something no family ever expects. After a week of being sick, Levi was taken to Akron Children’s in Boardman, where doctors discovered his HBG was dangerously low and his WBC count was over 200,000. That’s when his mother, Laura, received the heartbreaking news that Levi has Leukemia.
Levi now faces a long and uncertain road ahead. He’s scared, and one of his biggest worries is spending Christmas in the hospital instead of at home with his family. Laura, a single parent to Levi and his brother Austin, is doing everything she can to be by Levi’s side while also caring for Austin and trying to keep up with work. No parent should ever have to choose between paying bills, putting presents under the tree, or being at the hospital with their sick child.
Donations to this fundraiser will help cover Levi’s medical bills and the many trips back and forth to the hospital. Your support will ease the financial burden on Laura, allowing her to focus on what matters most—being there for Levi as he fights this battle. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference for this family during an incredibly difficult time. Thank you for helping Levi and his family find hope and strength.
