This sweet Forsyth family is incredibly near and dear to our hearts. Little Levi is the most precious 1½-year-old boy who has been fighting a hard battle for quite some time. After being in and out of doctor’s offices and hospitals and facing multiple misdiagnoses, his Mom never stopped advocating for him. She pushed tirelessly until someone finally listened. At Children’s in Macon, imaging was ordered that revealed a 3 cm brain tumor. Levi was immediately transferred to CHOA in Atlanta, where he underwent emergency surgery to place a drain to relieve the fluid on his brain, followed by another emergency surgery the very next day to remove the tumor. While they initially had hope that the tumor was benign, pathology unfortunately confirmed it was malignant. Levi remains inpatient at CHOA and is currently fighting an infection as he continues this brave journey.
With the holidays approaching, we would love to help relieve some of the stress for this family so they can focus on what truly matters—getting Levi healed and home. Levi also has the sweetest 6-year-old big sister, Lila, who has been so strong through it all. We are working on collecting items off the kids Christmas wish list and would also like to bless their mom financially to help cover costs of medical bills and give her the freedom to remain with Levi 24/7 while at the hospital and undergoing treatment. Any and all donations so GREATLY appreciated!
update from Levi’s Grandma - On December 15th, Levi will begin proton radiation at Emory Proton Therapy Center, with 30 rounds scheduled over six weeks. Because Jessica and Levi live far from Atlanta, Jessica will need to stay nearby at Joyce’s House, which comes with nightly costs, as well as expenses for parking, gas to visit home on weekends, and food and toiletries for both of them. Jessica will also need to travel home on weekends to see her daughter Lila, who is just six years old, and to give Levi a chance to play and be a little boy when he feels up to it. We are so grateful for the prayers, love, and support we have already received, and we humbly ask for your continued prayers, donations if you are able, and for you to share Levi’s story with others. Your kindness means the world to our family as we walk this difficult road together.
If you prefer to donate to Levi’s mom through CashApp directly - Jessica’s is $jaybo0518
